Why is the maximum temperature of a day generally observed during the afternoon while the minimum temperature during the morning

it is beacause during afternoon the sun is on top of us and we get direct rays from the sun,thus we observe maximum temperature during afternoon.

we observe minimum temperature during evening and morning due to get slanting rays from the sun during morning and evening, observe the minimum temperature during evening and morning
