Why is the Milky Way different from other galaxies?

Milky Way is different from other galaxies because it has a planet which supports life i.e earth.


greenplants: I must disagree. I think there are many many other planets which may/can support life
mimslo: but we are not sure about that
greenplants: yes, that doesn't mean that you're free to conclude there are NO planets out of so many (more than 250 billion in our galaxy alone) which don't have any form of life

Well, Milky way isn't quite different from other galaxies for example let's take the Andromea galaxy (excuse my spelling) It's quite similar to the milky way but larger than it.
