Explanation:

Most of the penninsular rivers are east flowing as they drain the Deccan Plateau ,they orignate in the Westeren Ghatas ,flow twowards the east and enter the Bay of Bengal. The rivers are Godavari, Mahanadi, Krishna and Kveri and build deltas near the coast.

Most of the peninsular rivers are east flowing because the eastern ghats are lower than the western ghats and the eastern ghats are discontinuous providing the rivers an easy passage to Bay of Bengal.There is a tilt in the Deccan plateau towards east which makes the peninsular rivers east flowing.
