Why is the NH3 more acidic than CH4?

Very simply acidity increases when hydrogen is attached to a more electronegative atom in a period. HF > H2O > NH3 > CH4
Along a group acidity increases as you go down and we can simply relate it to bond length.
HI > HBr > HCl > HF
