• Most of the land is present above the equator i.e. located on the northern hemisphere. Continents present on northern hemisphere are : Asia, Europe, North America, Arctic and parts of Africa and South America

• Inversely , most percentage of water is present on southern hemisphere.Continents present on southern hemisphere are : Remaining parts of Africa and South America, Australia and Antarctica
