The number of eggs laaid by the frog are much higher than the hen because the fertilization occurs externally and only small amount of eggs get fertilized and even a small amount of fertilized eggs become larva as they are eaten by the rest of the animals in water and and even larve are also eaten

So frog lays so many eggs than yhe dog

The number of eggs laid by frogs at a time are much higher than those laid by a hen because of the following reasons: 1) We can see External fertilization in frog but not in hen. 2) Due to external fertilization, the female frog lays a vast number of eggs in water & males releases millions of sperms on to them.

Hope it helps.
