Hola!!! mate..

Number of eggs laid by hen is much lesser in number than the friog because there are many preditors who feed on frogs little ones so eventually few are left but that is not the case with hen .As animals need for the survival of their species so they lay large amount of eggs.

Organisms having internal fertilization, produces one egg at a time, this is because there is less chance of failure of fusion of male and female gametes,,,,,whereas frogs, which are the aquatic organisms, showing the external mode of reproduction have to lay egg in hundreds because their single egg is so small in size that it will not be possible to stay to definite position and in turn makes hard for the sperm to find and fuse with them....hence the large number of egg produced give more posiblility of giving birth to young ones

That's the reason, that number of eggs laid by frogs at a time is much higher than those laid by hen ...
