the no. of eggs laid by frogs are much higher that those laid by a hen as frogs eggs are smaller and less energy consuming than of a hen and through evolution the chances of survival of in wild is much higher of hen than of frog so they lay more eggs as per some may survive and pass the genus to the next generation.
