So, our muscle cells work more than our skin cells, right? We jump, swim, run, sit and do many more activities with the help of our muscles. Our muscle cells require more amount of energy as compared to our skin cells. So that they can perform their function well.

This is why muscle cells have more number of mitochondria as compared to skin cells.
