The PEACE TREATY AT VERSAILLES was considered harsh and humiliating because Germany had to give many of thier superior powers and resources.
13% of its territory, 10% of its land, Rhineland which was full of resources was also taken and people where suffering. Suddenly from the creditors, Germany become the debtors and that was considered very harsh and humiliating.
