India has a unique culture and is one of the oldest and greatest civilizations of the world. It stretches from the snow-capped Himalayas in the north to Sun drenched coastal villages of the south and the humid tropical forests on the south-west coast, from the fertile Brahmaputra valley in its east to the Thar Desert in the west.

India is the country of the great geographical extent and vast physiographic diversification. It sprawls from the snowy Himalaya in the north to the shore of the Indian ocean in the south.

It encompasses vast areas of diverse landmasses. In the north, the lofty Himalayas, part of it permanently ice-covered to the south Himalaya is the great Indo-Gangetic plain which is well known for rich fertile soils.

The western part of this is the vast plain Thar desert. south of part plain is peninsular India comprising of the uneven plateaus which the surrounded by eastern coastal plain in the east and the western coastal plain in the west

Indian landmass gets the abundant sunshine from the tropical sun and splashing rain from the monsoon.

India is the seventh-largest country in the world, it has rich cultural diversification to various unique religious traditions. It belongs to Asia.

Thus, all these especially key features make India as physiographically rich and diversified.
