As india is a democracy and in democracy the government is run by the parliament elected by the public and the different parties contest these elections and the political party having majority is appointed by the president to run the government and the head of the party is given the oath along with his cabinet to tun the government and the head of party is called prime Minister and every thing revolves around him, being a head of government and executive and he is responsible to the parliament and public in general because his actions can judged by the public.
