"Rainy season guava is low in acid content because of leaching loss which causes a very poor taste in fruits.
It can be controlled by protecting fruits from such losses due to heavy rain.
The maximum acid content was noted in the treatment of CaCl2@2% + Polythene bag (0.39%) because it creates a protective layer against leaching loss. The minimum was found in control (0.29%). "
