aquatic organisms breath in water where amount of oxygen is less whereas terrestrial organisms breath through atmosphere that's why the breathing rate of aquatic animals is faster than of the terrestrial organisms

<b>⏩Terrestrial animals can breathe the oxygen in the atmosphere, but animals that live in water need to use the oxygen dissolved in water.
⏩The amount of dissolved oxygen in water is fairly low compared to the amount of oxygen in the air.
⏩So the rate of breathing in aquatic organisms is much than faster than Terristrial animals.
