William Blake says in the poem 'The Sick Rose ', that the Rose is on the verge of destruction and decay ,it has turned sick because the invisible worm has preyed on it.The beautiful rose in its bed ,is inflicted by the harmful worm and is destroyed. It creeps into the petal of the rose with its treacherous intention.Blake 's ideas that the true vision cannot come to the innocent, for the innocence by its very nature is easily led astray ,nor can it come to those who acquiesce in the distortion of experience,those distortion must be known and transcended is brought out.
