Both the equatorial and tropical regions
experience high temperatures, But salinity
is not higçhest au the equator. At the equator
there is more cloud cover enabling lessening
of evaporation as compared to the tropics..
But in the tropical region, the rate of
evaporation is higher than the amount of
rainfall it receives,
