Why is the series arrangement not used for connecting domestic electrical appliances in a circuit.

Series arrangement is not used for domestic circuits due to following reasons :
(1) In series arrangement same current will flow through all the appliances, which is not required.
(2) Total resistance of domestic circuit will be sum of the resistance of all appliances and hence current drawn by the circuit will be less.
(3) We cannot use independent on/off wsitches with individual appliances.
(4) All appliances are to be used simultaneously even if we do not need them.

bcz of two main reasons..
1. in series arrangement same current is going to pass through all appliances....imagine same current passing through a bulb and a heater.so this is not feasible
2. if one appliance in series arrangement goes out of order (mutlb agr akh kharab gussi) then all the other appliances will also stop to work as no current will pass in any of them
