Why is the shadow formed by a tubelifht not sharp?

It would be better if u see a diagram but, let's try.
Tube light is not a point source, it's surface area is large for the fixed amount of energy it receives so it emits the radiation in decreased intensity compared to pin point light source

--> It produces a shadow which is faint and thus creates an illusion of no shadow.
--> A point source of light creates a strong shadow but as the source of light increases it end up wid a blurry shadow as it is made up of "lots of overlapping shadows".
--> So the shadow of tubelight is not sharp.
