It is special because it is a species of ground lily found exclusively in the Shirui Hills, located about 18 km from the district headquarters of Ukhrul, which is home to the Tangkhul Naga tribe. In other words, it cannot be transplanted anywhere else in the world.

Ans :- The shirui lily ia a unique gift because it grow only at the urkhul district , it locally known as kashong timrawon in the tangkhul dialect and it was discovered by F . Kingdon ward in the 1946. it was through his efforts that the world at large came to know about the unique flower
