why is the size of Neon Greater than Flourine.

Neon is greater than fluorine because it is monoatomic. Also the repulsion between different shells of electrin thus increase its size so much that it is even bigger than the first element in the period that is why neon is greater than fluorine.The structural stability of neon also matters in this case.
