Why is the sky blue?

due to the scattering of sun ray the white light I E., the sunlight is scattered by the air particles in the atmosphere..and due to scattering the white light is deviated into its constituent colours (vibgyor).

and as the angle of deviation of violet colour is larger than the other colours so it is seen by the people on the eart crust .As our eyes are most sensitive to blue colour than the violet so..the sky looks blue ....and reason behind it is only the presense of earth atmosphere...

whereas for the moon the atmosphere is absent so from moon's surface the sky looks dark ..cause no deviation of light ray is occured due to the absence of atmosphere.....
