According to Physics, the sky is blue as blue is the colour which is deviated the more in dispersion of white light (sunlight). However, violet is not the colour of the sky eventhogh it is deviated more as our eyes are sensitive to blue colour. So, if the sky is violet in spite of that it will be visible to us as blue only.
