Hey friend !!
Because of atmospheric referaction . When the sun's light reaches the Earth's atmosphere it is scattered, or deflected, by the tiny molecules of gas .

the sky is blue because the molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. which is shown in the picture. when we look towards the sun of sunset. we see red and orange colors bcoz the blue light has been separate and move off quickly in different directions and away from the line of sight.
