Why is the soil found in Indo gangetic plains so fertile ?

This is sj because the river flowing beside which is river Ganga gets soil minerals from top of the mountains and thus all the minerals from the mountains get deposited in these plains and thus make them fertile.. pls mark as brainlist ans...

all the tributaries of river Indus passes through Indo gangetic plain and the silt will be taken from those lands and left near the indo - gangetic plane.
