why is the standard time of Bangladesh half fourahead of India

Answer: This is because the Sun rises at different times in each country. Even we have a time lag of 2 hours from Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat, but we have taken time in Indian standard Meridian do the entire nation. In the same way, Bangladesh experiences sunrise half an hour earlier than us.
