Answer:

This is the story about some boys who don't want to be taught by their new scholar. They were returning to school by train from their own houses after holidays. They had already composed a poem against their new Sanskrit teacher, Kalikumar Tarkalankar. The poem was cleverly titled Kalo Kumror Balidan - The Sacrificial Death of the Black Pumpkin. They were reciting it loudly. Then an old gentleman boarded the train at Arkhol station. He carried a bedroll, two or three earthen pots sealed with cloth, a tin trunk and a few bundles. Bichkun, a tough - looking boy, called out to him that there is no room for him here, go and find another compartment. The gentleman replied that, there is no room anywhere, he will just take a little corner and won't disturb them. Then the old man asked the boys in a friendly manner where they are going. Bichkun replied quickly that they are going to perform a funeral ceremony. Then the man asked whose funeral ceremony are they going. The reply came as ''Kalo-Kumro-Tatka- Lanka's!''. The the boys chorused together, Kalo-Kumro-Tatka-Lanka, Black-Pumpkin-Green-Chilli, We will teach you a lesson and make you look silly! When they reached Ansol station. Bichkun said that, it's better to move out of the compartment. They said that there are rats all over. The boys showed the old man that his two pots were completely empty and all the sweets had been polished off. The old man smiled and said that the poor rats must be extremely hungry. The boys were rather dissapointed to see that the old man was not irritated in spite of much teasing. When they reached the next station, burdawan, the old man informed that he is moving to another compartment. When the boys heared that, they chorused, ''NO''. Then the said ok, and went outside for a minute. Soon, the old man arrived along with the sweet vendor.
