Why is the tertiary sector becoming so important in India?

1. Large number of workers engaged in small services are not helping in developing the economy
2. In service sector most of the workers are barely able to manage to earn a living
3. The need of basic services in any country help to generate employment and develop the economy
4. the development of agriculture and industry leads to more employment in primary and secondary sectors

Territory sector has becoming important in India because

  1. demand for services such as transport ,trade ,storage will increase with the development of primary and secondary sector
  2. demand for shopping, tourism , private schools, private hospitals etc... increase with the increase in the level of income
