And if we talk about Thar desert about these sphere we got to know the below mentioned details -
1) The Thar desert receive a very little rainfall
- It receives an average rainfall of 4 to 10 inches only .
- So there is shortage of water very much .
2) The soil of desert is sandy soil . It can absorb a lot of water and the land became dry again
- So farming is not much possible in desert area.
- That's why food shortage also persist .
3) There is less availability of vegetation for the cattle also .
4) The temperature of desert is so high that the people who belongs from hill area can't survive here .
- So it's very tough to adapt according to the hot atmospheric conditions .
All these are some reason for less population .
