Tigers were once hunted not for food but as a sport. Hunting of tigers is banned, but they are still being hunted for their skin which is sold in the black market. The destruction of forests had left the tigers without their natural home. Without forests other animals too decrease and tigers are cannot survive. It is human beings that has brought tigers to the brink of extinction. To save the tigers from total extinction we have to take up major steps for their preservation and population growth.
