Hey I'm MrMysterious and I'm here to answer your question

The answer of your question ->

≥ The tip of nail is made pointed because when area is reduced pressure is increased and when area is increased pressure is decreased. So that the nail can easily make a whole in wall or any hard surface ( can hole anything easily ) it has less area in the tip.
