Kulhad is a cup made out of clay used to serve beverages like coffee and tea. Though kulhads have many advantages like biodegradable property, affordable cost etc, they are not used now a days. This is because of the following reasons. First reason is that kulhads cannot be made and supplied easily on a large scale. They should be stored safely as they are easily breakable. Making of kulhad requires top fertile soil. Producing them on a large scale results in the fertile top soil of many areas. Formation of fertile top soil requires thousands of years.
