The value of things are difficult to be calculated as compared to other things for which the other thing is to be traded. Money on the other hand provides a standard value to every thing and makes the calculation and comparison way easy

Barter system means exchanging services and goods for other services and good in return while money can be exchanged with anything you want despite the nature of the good you want to buy. In a barter system, the other party should be willing to exchange the services or goods only if they want what we are providing. So barter system is really time-consuming and is not very effective when it comes to trade. Money is more fluid and we can sell the product to anyone. The technique of barter system is very limited. In trade, time is the most important thing and the whole business depends on time so the traders cannot waste their time in finding the right person who wants to exchange the similar things with them.
