why is the use of wood as a fuel not advisable although wood is a renewable sources of energy?

Because : wood on burning doesn't give more heat and light as other fuels .
It leaves residue on burning showing incomplete combustion and oxidation.
It destroys the natural resources of trees and forests which should be preserved.
It releases a lot of harmful gases into the atmosphere.
