the vacuole is larger in the plant cell bevause they need to storemore materials like cell sap and gluecose (food) and water and minerals(raw materials) as they make their own food unlike in animal cells who mostly just store waste materials

Because vacoule don't only store foods.They provide turgidity and rigidity to the plant cell.thats why it is larger than animal cell.
