Why is the vapor pressure of a warm lake higher than the vapor pressure of a cold lake?
A. Warm water has a greater heat of vaporization.
B. Warm water evaporates more quickly.

The vapour pressure z essentially d the force experienced by any container due to the collision of the vapours of a substance in d container.....

solids usually dont exhibit any vapour pressure.....however there are exceptions...eg: naphtahalene (a sublime compound)

now, its obvious that more amt of vapours, higher d vapour pressure......n we also know, that warm water produces more vapours than cold water (due to easy evaporation).....

Thus this explains why warm lakes have higher vapour pressure
