The maximum height of the projectile is when the projectile reaches zerovertical velocity. From this point the vertical component of the velocityvector will point downwards. The horizontal displacement of the projectile is called the range of the projectile and depends on the initialvelocity of the object

kkk3817: I want to know what is the reason behind it
kkk3817: I m not talking about only for projectile motion
kkk3817: I m talking about when we throw a body in upward direction then the final velocity become zero
kkk3817: why

When a body moves upwards, it experiences a negative acceleration are retardation which decreases the velocity and finally brings to zero at the maximum height.

raihansk8303pc95z7: But for that I need your contact, as in Facebook not Whatsapp or anything
kkk3817: I don't use such app
raihansk8303pc95z7: Oh then here we can also be friends.
