why is the voice produced by women and children of higher frequency than that of men

Voice of Men, Women and children are different.
Reason:
1. Men have vocal cords about 20mm length.
2. Women have vocal cords about 5mm long.
3. Children have still very short vocal chord.
4.As the frequency of vibration of vocal cord increases, pitch of sound produced by it increases.
5. So, When, we go from man to woman, and then child, the frequency of vibration of their vocal cords increases due to which the pitch of their voices increases.

the men have a louder voice in comparison of children and women because of there vocal cord are very thin and because of that the pitch of sound of children and women get decrease
