hey ur ans is here........WATER KEPT IN AN EARTHEN POT BECOME COOL...this is because the water comes out from the pores of the earthen pot and it evaporates. due to evaporation it cause cooling.....hope it helps u

In an Earthen pot water gets evaporated soon by the pores in cooling is caused by evaporation.Some amount of heat energy is utilised to evaporate. Since,this heat energy is taken away from water it leads to lowering the temperature .Hence, water is Earthen pot are cool.
