The work done by the male is valued more than the work done by the female because males are believed to be masculine and can do outside work while females are believed to be housewife and can not earn her living and she depends on their husband. But this believe is not true, it's just the thinking of old uncivilized people.

People gave less opportunities to women so they couldn't show their talent but men's have those opportunities so people think men's have Rights only so it is considered the women's work is very poor/cheap.
