Why is there a difference in the climates of region close tu the oceans and regions far away from the oceans?

There is a difference in the climate depending on the distance from the ocean. The regions close to the sea or ocean experience moderate climate while the region far from the coast experience extreme climate. This is because of sea breeze and land breeze. During the day land heats up quickly, so does the air above it.
