why is there a mass migration to urban areas???

In rural areas scope of occupation is less than that of urban areas also availablity of service like medical, ICT, and other such services is quite less compared to the urban areas. Hence majority of people in rural areas migrate to urban areas for occupation etc. this is also one of the major reason for growth of slums in the urban centres.

To reduce such overcrowding government must take progressive steps!
