sugarcane is a kind of grass with thick stem.It grows to a height of about three meters or more.Sugar is stored in the stem of the sugarcane.Sugarcane probably originated in the eastern Asia is found in hot and humid climate and it requires temperature of about 20°to 26℃and rainfall of about 150℃.It also requires level land and well drained fertile soil, there is no accumulation of water in the fields. So,there is hardly any growth in temperate grassland
