Mainly in India sugarcane production is shifting south from North because the conditions( such as black soil, higher temperature, good rainfall or irrigation frost free season ) for sugarcane growth is found more prominent in the south.
Secondly , crushing season is longer in the South.
Thirdly, sucrose content is ginger than in the North.
Lastly, sugar mills are managed better
And there is modern machinery.
Hope this helps you. Brainiest old☺️
