why is there need for conservation of water resources

Because water is a precious form of natural resource. and as we all know water is very sustainable for human life and only 1% of pure water is available for drinking, we should not waste it. instead we should try save it and conserve it as much as possible.

It is not only essential for humans but also for aquatic and marine organisms.
It us used for several other purposes like it is used in household work etc
