Casteism isn't absent in Bengal, although it isn't as virulent as it is elsewhere. The reasons that Casteism appears weaker in Bengal are:
1. The present caste system was apparently brought in quite late to Bengal(post 1100 A.D.) during the mediaeval era by the Sena rulers after the fall of the Buddhist Pala dynasty.
2. Even after this, there were only two major castes, Brahmins and Shudras. There were hierarchies within the shudra caste in Bengal and shudras did enjoy significant political power.
3. This Senas were displaced by Bhaktiyar Khilji and consequently, the Bengal Sultanate. The official religion soon changed to Islam.
4. Bengalis became primarily Islamic, though very different from the stereotypical notion of what an Islamic society looks like.
5. During the British era, many of the Shudra subcastes sought recognition as forward castes by establishing dubious links outside the region and ancestry to mythical munis and rishis. If anything, other than the Brahmin-Shudra divide, these events made Casteism more of a phenomenon practised across Bengali society.
6. Still, West Bengal has a long tradition of Leftist politics that has deemphasized religion, or at least claimed to do so, and hasn't played the caste card politically all that much yet.
7. Despite all of this, Brahmins are overwhelmingly represented politically.

because in West Bengal all the people belong to the same caste so there is no caste discrimination among the people in West Bengal

They have their own interdependent community and follow the same religious culture and activity
