no permanent human settlement in Antarctica is possible as the climate of that area is not suitable for the survival of humans.

There is six month day and six month night so people aren't addicted to it and it is not good because for the six months night there will be no sunlight and plants can't grow there as there is no soil present in about 97% area. for the six months day it will be so much heat for the plants that they will die if I grow. moreover the avg temperature of that area is very low and is not suitable for human settlement.
