In India, Intensive Subsistence farming is done which means most of the farm production is usually done to meet the demand of their family. Crippling storage facility is supported by the government so, grains get spoiled easily thus hiking of prices. In India more than 20% of people are living in poverty. So, these are the factors responsible why there not enough food for a large section of Indian population
