gravitation is every where.. not only on earth. every object in this solar system attract each other with a force called gravitational force.

but it seems that only there is gravitation on earth and only earth have gravitational force as all objects when thrown fall down and come back to the surface of earth.

we all have gravitational force, but gravitation is depended on two things.

gravitation is inversely proportional to distance and direct proportional to mass of the object.

if the distance is less, then gravitational pull will be larger and if the distance is larger, then the gravitational pull will be smaller as we know gravitation  is inversely proportional to distance between the objects.

and the most important thing is the mass of the object. if the mass is large, then gravitational pull will also be larger, and if the mass is less, then gravitational pull will also be very less.

that's why every thing on earth comes back to the surface of earth when thrown up because the mass of the earth is very very large as compared to that object.

objects that falls down also attract earth towards them, but since their mass is very less, it only seems that earth is attracting everyone.

now u are thinking that mass is direct proportional to the mass of the object and the mass of the earth is very large as compared to the moon, then why moon isn't falling on earth.

the reason is earth is attracting moon also, but the surface of earth isn't flat.

take an example of ball. if u throw it with less force, then it will cover a less distance in a horizontal path and then it will fall down and if you throw the same ball with more force, then it will cover more distance in the horizontal path and then fall down.

the same thing happens with moon, but because of it's great velocity, it keep moving since there's no flat surface for the moon and we know that the center of earth attracts objects towards him. so the moon keep revolving around the earth with a force called centrifugal force.

similarly all planets revolves around the sun.

mark me as brainliest answer and thanks me for the reply

Explanation:

Earth's gravity comes from all its mass. All its mass makes a combined gravitational pull on all the mass in your body. ... You exert the same gravitational force on Earth that it does on you. But because Earth is so much more massive than you, your force doesn't really have an effect on our planet.
