why is there reduced perianth in anemophilous and hydrophilous flowers?

•Hydrophilous plants:- The water pollinated plants are called as Hydrophilous plants.

•Perianth:-In some plants calyx and corolla are morphologically similar.They together known sa perianth.

As in hydrophilous plants and anemophilous plants the pollination occur by aboitic agents i.e water , wind. There is no need of petals ,sepals to attract the insects , birds and honeybee.So in them floral adaptation take place and there perianth get reduced.
