the image formed by a plane mirror is just a copy of the object, called virtual image,
we see that virtual image laterally inverted as the image of the parts of object forms correspondingly which not always seems similar to the observer example in the picture
the given two triangles are corresponding (look alike) but laterally inverted for the observer
